The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced recruitment for various positions including Scientist/Engineer (SC), Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant, Technician (B), Draughtsman (B), Fireman (A), Cook, Light Vehicle Driver (A’), and Heavy Vehicle Driver (A’). A total of 224 vacancies are available for these positions. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of ISRO.

Age, Qualifications, and Salary

Candidates applying for ISRO Recruitment 2024 must be between 18 to 35 years old. The qualifications vary depending on the post. For example:

  • For Mechatronics: M.E/M.Tech or equivalent with 60% aggregate or CGPA 6.5, pre-eligibility of B.E/B.Tech with 65% aggregate or CGPA 6.84.
  • For Mathematics: M.Sc. with 65% aggregate or CGPA 6.84, pre-eligibility of B.Sc. with 1st Class.
  • For Plumber: SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in Plumber trade.
  • For Fireman ‘A’: SSLC/SSC pass or equivalent.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary up to level 10 as per the official notification.

Selection Process and Application Fee

Candidates will be selected based on written tests or computer-based tests and skill tests like driving tests. The application fee is Rs. 250 for certain posts and Rs. 100 for others. Initially, candidates must pay Rs. 500 per application as a processing fee.
