In a recent development, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released a crucial notification regarding the provisional selection list of various courses for the academic year 2023. This notification, referenced as Notification No. 063-BOPEE of 2023 dated 20.08.2023, followed by Notification No. 086-BOPEE of 2023 dated 24.09.2023, signifies a significant milestone in the admission process for several courses.

The board had earlier notified that seats under the Children of Defense Personnel (CDP) Category would be allocated to eligible candidates on the basis of valid Priority Certificates submitted by the applicants. As a result, eligible candidates were required to submit their CDP Priority Certificates issued by the Competent Authority. With the submission process now concluded, the board has published the provisional selection list for the candidates falling under the CDP category for admission to various courses including B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Pam-Medical, and B.Sc. Technology courses for the academic year 2023 in both Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The selection has been made in accordance with the priorities outlined in S.0 277 of 2021 dated 13.08.2021, as issued by the Government of J&K, Department of Social Welfare. This is in conjunction with communication F.No. 6(1)/2017/D (Res. 11) dated 21.05.2018 of the Government of India, Ministry of Defense, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, and based on the choices filled by the candidates during the online counseling process.
