Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be in Class 9 and have cleared the NMMSS Examination 2022. Additionally, their parental income from all sources should not exceed Rs 3,50,000 per annum. It’s essential to check the JKBOSE website (www.jkbose.nic.in) for the NMMSS Exam 2022 results, application guidelines, and other important instructions.
Scholarship Details:
Selected students from Class IX will receive a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum. This financial support will continue for students studying in Government schools from classes X to XII. It’s worth noting that students in ‘Kendriya Vidyalayas’ and ‘Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas‘ are not eligible for this scholarship.
Renewal for Previous Years:
For candidates who appeared in the NMMSS Exam in 2021, 2020, or 2019 and are currently in Class 10th, 11th, or 12th during the 2023-24 session and have received the NMMSS earlier, they can also submit online renewal applications on the National Scholarship Portal by November 30, 2023. Please note that no extensions will be granted this year, so timely submission is crucial.
