The JKBOSE recently disclosed its plan to conduct annual regular exams for 10th to 12th standard students. The exams for soft zones are scheduled to begin from the first week of March-2024, whereas those for hard zones will commence from the second week of April-2024.
Exam Schedule for Soft Zones:
- The 10th standard exams in soft zones will initiate from the second week of March-2024.
- For 11th standard students in soft zones, the exams are set to begin from the last week of March.
- Likewise, the 12th standard exams will kick off from the first week of March 2024.
Exam Schedule for Hard Zones:
- The hard and difficult zones of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh divisions will host exams for 10th and 12th standard from the second week of April-2024.
- The 11th standard exams for these zones are slated for the last week of April.
Result Declaration:
- The results for 10th standard exams will be announced in the third week of June-2024 for both hard and soft zones.
- Similarly, the results for 11th standard will be declared in the last week of June.
- Lastly, the results for 12th standard exams are expected to be out in the second week of June.

Special Cases:
- The Board identified 444 schools in Jammu and Kashmir for which the annual regular examinations will be held in April instead of March.
- The entire Leh district of Ladakh has been designated as a hard zone, with exams slated for the month of April.
