Railway Recruitment 2024

The RRB has recently announced a massive recruitment drive, offering 9000 job vacancies for the position of Technician. The application process for these positions will commence on 9th March, with the detailed vacancy information being released on the same day. Interested candidates will have until 8th April to submit their applications.

Vacancy Details:

According to media reports, out of the 9000 job vacancies, 7,900 are designated for Technician Grade III signal, while the remaining 1100 vacancies are for Technician Grade I signal.

Eligibility Criteria:

For the Technician Grade I signal position, candidates must be between 18 and 36 years of age, whereas for the Technician Grade III position, the age limit is between 18 and 33 years.

Application Process:

Candidates belonging to the General category are required to pay an application fee of ₹500, while candidates from SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, PwBD, Females, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward class categories need to pay ₹250 as the application fee.

Important Note:

In addition to the Technician vacancies, the RRB has also announced recruitment for constables (Exe.) and sub-inspectors (Exe.) in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) earlier this year.
